Jim Corbett is one of the oldest most picturesque national park of India. It offers everything what a wild life photographer seeks. Starting from High hills to a river bed covered with white stones and from dry grass lands to a wide stretch of swamps. It has every thing one needs to observe and compose. The oldest park of India not only reach with tiger but also it houses, elephants, wild boars, spotted deer, samber deers to name a few. Not only mammals it has a huge number of birds diversity to make you to make your experience worth remembering.
Why in December?
This is the core of winter and as you will be knowing that Jim Corbett is situated in Nainital district of Uttarakhand, the temperature will be jaw dropping. The mist will be dense and grass will be tall. The pale colour of grass will be simmering through the rising sun and will be piercing the mist. This is just a scene worth watching. Light will be soft and the photos taken during this time will have a separate fan base of its own. There will be enough water in the river for a tiger to swim across. The mist will be having own charm and the sun light sneaking through the thick foliage will create dramatic scene, which will make an image of a spotted deer worth staring a while.

Itineraries:
DAY 1
8.00 A.M: Journey begins from Ramnagar to Dhikala
11.45 A.M: Reach at the Dhikala guest house, and wait till room allotment and check in process.
12.15 P.M: Have lunch at dinning area of Dhikala guest house
1:30 P.M: Pick up your gears, get into the gypsy and be ready for our first safari
5:30 P.M: Leave the National park, have some snacks, reach at your allocated room and get freshen up
7:00 P.M: Image review & photography learning session
8:00 P.M: Have dinner and take rest
DAY-2 & 3
5:00 A.M: Time to wake up and get freshen up.
5.3o A.M: Get ready with your gears and reach at the Dhikala gate for morning safari.
10.oo A.M: Return to base for a quick breakfast.
12.15 P.M: Assemble in the dinning hall for lunch
1.30 P.M: Reach at the Dhikala gate for afternoon safari
5:30 P.M: Leave the National park, have some snacks and reach your allocated room
7:00 P.M: Image review & photography learning session
8:00 P.M: Have dinner and take rest
DAY-4
5:00 A.M: Time to wake up and get freshen up.
6.oo A.M: Get ready with your gears and reach at the Dhikala gate for morning safari
10.oo A.M: Return to the base for a quick breakfast and check out of your allotted rooms.
Advisory for ticket booking : As pick up and drop is provided from Ramnagar to Ramnagar, Your journey till Ramnagar will be explained in this section.
Nearest airport: New Delhi
Nearest Railway station Ramnagar. (RMR)
There are two trains that connects Delhi to Ramnagar.
i) UTR Sampark Kranti (15035) : It will leave Delhi at 4.00 P.M and reach Ramnagar at 9.00 P.M.
Those who want to have a night stay at Ramnagar can opt this train.
Stay can be arranged at extra cost if contacted earlier. ( subjected to availability )

ii) Ranikhet Express (15013)
It will leave Delhi at 8.20 P.M and reach Ramnagar at 4.15 A.M (Next day morning)
Those who don't want a night stay at Ramnagar and can join workshop straight away, can opt this train.

Note: You can reach Ramnagar by road as well, It may take 5-6 hours by road.

• Double occupancy accommodation for all days of Safari, (Single occupancy is not available due to limited number of rooms)

• Camera body and lens (Preferably above 300mm) according to your shooting style with extra battery (if possible)
• Hat / caps / Winter Clothings
• Rain / dust cover to protect your equipment
• Essential Medicine, band-aid as per your requirement
• Laptop, hard drive and extra memory cards to transfer / store your data
• ID proof

Terms and Conditions:
1: The participants who wish to book the workshop have to pay 50% of the total workshop fees during booking and the remaining 50% before the last date of the booking.
2: Though there will be a last date of booking but the booking will happen on a first come first serve basis. So booking a workshop as early as possible will give you a better chance of confirmation.
3: No enrollment request shall be accepted after the last date of booking.
4: Requests for cancellation/change must be informed through mail. No other mode of cancellation/change request shall be accepted.
5: There shall be no refund in case of cancellation.
6: Request for the change of workshop date shall only be accepted if the request is formally mailed to [email protected] at least before 1 month of the first day of safari. In such cases the date of communication of intent shall be considered for calculation of cancellation fees/change fee.
7: Only 10% of the booking amount paid shall be adjusted towards ‘change fees”, if the participant opts for change of workshop date before one month of first date of Safari.
8: The participant has to pay the differential amount (if any) for the new workshop he/she is opting for after changing dates of his/her earlier booked workshop.
9: There shall be no refund/adjustment in case of change request received after the cut off date which is before one month of the first day of Workshop.
10: Hotel facility is subjected to availability. Incase of particular hotel promised is not available, participants will be shifted to hotels of similar facility. Though all care has been taken to avoid such circumstances.
11: In the event of cancellation of the workshop due to any reason, the total booking amount received shall be refunded as early as possible. There shall be no refund for the loss/damage occurred due to cancellation of the workshop such as loss of airfare etc
12: The expenses which are not expressly mentioned shall be borne by participants.
13: Itinerary listed in the workshop section is indicative only. There might be variation in the itinerary as the situation demands and best suitable for the interest of the participants
Refund Policy
1: There shall be no refund in case of cancellation.
2: Only 10% of the booking amount paid shall be adjusted towards ‘change fees”, if the participant opts for change of workshop date before one month of first date of Safari.
